Lego Day At ONW
I Liked the lego day one better because i was able to take my time and get it done and the blood drive you had one day to film and get it done or you wouldn't have a good project and my groups SD card wasn't working so we didn't get as much as we wanted. I liked how the blood drive was a live event and how you had to change the way you prepared going into it and that the lego project you could go out and film for days and then come back and finish it. i will use that for next year when i am in sports and filming the players. i think i could have prepared better for the blood drive and lego projects if i new what i was going to talk about first.

 

I learned how too embed music and how to set makers to change the music when it hit the beat. First my group and I choose are song then we made out a story and a mood board to go with the song, next we went out and filmed all of our shots that we needed, then we came back and edited the movie. I learned how to use markers to go with the beat, how to detach the music and then add the music for our song, I also learned how to use the key board to edit the film and not just use the mouse. i would probably try to make the song go a little better with the film and also make it a smoother transition from one part of the song to another. i would probably ask to do a different song. i will remember how to use the keyboard shortcuts and also how to detach the music. I didn't mind the project I think it would have been better if my group had done a different song.

we had to use pixel fringe and make the project better and to make the image look better. i first had to go find an image so i choose the lion and then i had to find a background for it then i had to make a shadow for the lion. i learned how to make a shadow for the lion and make it look good and use the color from the ground in the shadow. i would have probably used a different image because it was hard to make the lion and the shadows for it. i would probably use the same background because i liked it. i learned how to make a good shadow for my next projects. i liked the project but i think we should have had more time to work on it because it was kind of a hard project.

We started out learning about pixel fringe and how to make them look better. First i got the mountain out of its original picture then i put it in withe the sky and made the tip for the mountain and then covered it up with  cloud, i also had to find two other images and i choose Waldo and Sasquatch and then dropped my name in behind Waldo.

 I learned how to crop out images from there original photo and then also how to take part of a cloud and make a duplicate of it and then move it over the mountian and i also learned Command Shift J is to take out what you have selected and put it on a new layer.

i would probably try to make the cloud a little better looking then what ti does. i would put on the other images again if i had to. i will remember how to get images out of here backgrounds and make the pixels look good.i liked the project but i think we should have had more time to work on it than just a week but i really liked the project.

i liked the photoshop one better because it looks better and also i like it better than my basketball one i used different tools like inner glow and different types of masks on it and on illustrator i learned how to cut the basketball in half and then making it into a sphere which was harder because the tutorial that i had to use was for the older edition of illustrator.

I learned how to use the color correcting to make some of my shots brighter and not dark and having to add shadows to the shots that I made brighter. I also learned how to shorten down my film from 3 minutes to 1:30 minutes which was hard because you had to choose what shots to cut and what shots to keep even if some of the shots you might have needed but took up a lot of time. I learned how to cut music and make it so that the music goes with the scenes and also having it so that the music goes together with each other and not sound weird and to overlap the music to make it sound good. We learned how to use markers in the music so that when you make a scene change it was on thee beat of the music. Matthew Vanderslice.

In photoshop and illustrator we i made two red spheres looking at my sketches that i had made i also used different tools on both of the spheres i think that it was easier to use illustrator and i also like using it better then photoshop and also i understand it better than photoshop. I think i am way better at using illustrator than photoshop because i haven't used photoshop besides last year in quarter 1. there was a lot of different things to do in photoshop then in illustrator.
